It’s been a New Year full of new challenges!!!!!! I’m still locked, still twisting and still interlocking!

This year I changed careers and started a new job.   Whew, what an adventure!
Seems that I started the Prosperous New Year, by going to work for “crooks”, who’s desire was to get “prosperous” by pimping me and the other co-workers services.    I am well aware that times are hard, and business and individuals are reacting in ways that they might not if “times were better”.
My contract agreement was for just over 30hrs a week, but on day #2, they bumped it to 58 hours a week.  No discussion, no prior notice, just an instant schedule change.    For 4 weeks I played along while observing various levels of BS in their Business misPractices.    By weeks 5 & 6 I could no longer hold my tongue, and ideas and recommendations were “shot down” left and right.     I tried to be positive but sometimes……sometimes…. people push you too far.   So “I quit”.   GOD , might not be through with them yet, but (as an employee) I am!
Mantras:  There’s a popular female (AM talk) radio personality in Atlanta whose closing statement used to be something like: “Never let anyone force you to be less than your best” add to that the statement “The only way the man can ride your back is if you refuse to stand-up”.
I could not bring my best to this establishment, so I’m “standing up” and taking my “best” elsewhere.  I’m convinced I will have a prosperous New Year, but I had to acknowledge that it wasn’t going to accomplish that by allowing myself to be pimped.

/\  /\  This is a very long-winded explanation as to why I’ve not updated my blog lately, heck I spent the first few days of “freedom” doing my own re-ti, as it had been neglected during the long hours.   I hope someone finds encouragement out of this.
To those who left comments, thank you and YES I'm still standin'
